Narragansett's newly established Coastal Access Improvement Committee is now accepting applications. Narragansett residency required
The new Narragansett Town Council committee will be looking to put together a diverse group composed of residents who are interested in coastal access as a right, planning and public infrastructure, and working on projects and policy recommendations which will improve access for all in town.
Committee mission statement:
"The Coastal Access Improvement Committee serves as an advisory body to the Town Council on matters concerning both preservation of existing shoreline access and the expansion of physical access by the public. The committee focuses on the identification of public Rights-of-Way to the water and works to improve accessibility, create maintenance plans, and upgrade public infrastructure around coastal access sites."
